How the San Angelo Whiskey Collective handles membership, guest requests, and website information.
Information we collect
When you register for membership or request a first-time guest invitation, we collect the name and personal email address you provide, your membership or guest request details, and any optional phone number or referral details you choose to share. We use this information to administer membership, respond to your request, and send the updates you select.
Payments and membership messages
Stripe processes membership payments and stores payment-card information. The Collective receives payment and subscription references needed to administer your membership. Current rates are $75 at monthly signup ($50 initiation plus the first $25 month), then $25 per month, or $300 for an annual membership. Verified service members and spouses may receive the $50 initiation-fee waiver. Paid members are added to the SAWC Members list for member communications. Optional community and event email consent is separate.
Service-member verification
If you request the initiation-fee waiver, we send a one-time code to a military email address. The site deletes that address when verification completes or the code expires. It is not your member contact email and is not used for marketing. Our email delivery provider processes the address to deliver the code and may retain delivery records under its own privacy and retention terms.
Email and outside services
We use Resend to deliver verification, guest-request, and member welcome messages, and SimpleSend to manage the SAWC Members list. QuestGo, Facebook, Instagram, Stripe, and The Bulletin are separate services; when you follow their links or use their services, their own terms and privacy notices apply. We do not give local partners your contact information for collaborative marketing.
Your choices and requests
Event and community email is optional, and you can unsubscribe from those messages. You may contact [email protected] to ask about the personal information associated with your membership or guest request. Records required to administer an active membership or comply with payment and accounting obligations may need to be retained.
Site terms
Membership and guest participation are for people 21 or older. Current event details, partner participation, and availability are published in The Bulletin and may change. Monthly membership renews at $25 per month after the initial signup payment; the annual plan automatically renews at $300 per year until canceled.
